Mother’s Day 5k

**If you did not receive your award at the race, it can be picked up at Extra Mile Fitness Co. in Valpo. Top 3 in each age group received a Mother’s Day 5k aluminum water bottle.**

Celebrate Mother’s Day as a mom with your children, as a runner/walker with your mom, as just as a person who loves moms! The race is a pavement only 5k and kids’ 1k starting in Imagination Glen Park in Portage. The 5k course runs on both the Prairie-Duneland bike trail and the Iron Horse bike trail with many scenic views including running over 2 bridges that span Salt Creek. Each mom will receive a special award at the finish line!

5k participants can opt to register with a technical t shirt or without a shirt. There are no shirts for the kids’ 1k.

5k Awards
The top 5 overall male and female, top masters male and female (40+ years of age), and age group top 3 male and female (1-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+). Also, each mom will receive a special gift at the finish line.
1k Kids’s Fun Run Awards
Every finisher will receive an award, and a special gift to give to their mom.
