Put your Turkey powered engine to the test the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a trail race! The event features a trail marathon, half marathon, and 5k at Imagination Glen Park in Portage, IN. The Outbacktrail.org system is twisted and winding with many short, steep hills on trails wide enough for 3 wide to single track. The marathon and half marathon will be held on a 13.1 mile course (2 loops for the marathon) while the 5k will be a no repeat muddy trail race featuring a few creek crossings. Come put your Turkey to the test!

Every participant will receive a long sleeve tech shirt with race logo.
All Marathon and Half Marathon finishers will receive awards. The Men’s and Women’s champions of the marathon & half marathon will receive a free pair of Inov-8 trail shoes. The top five men’s and women’s finishers of all 3 races will receive awards. Age group awards will be given out in 10 years age groups, ex: Age 30-39. The number of age groups awards will be handed out based on the number of age group entrants.
There will be 4 aid stations per 13.1 mile loop, 8 total for the marathon. Aid stations will include water, electrolyte drink, m&m’s, pretzels, and energy gels.
The 5k will include 1 aid station.
The course will start and finish at the shelter near the Front Side trail head off of McCool Road.
